Sound Walk Sunday

Interspecies Walk Curated by Dr Ros Bandt in Athens

Interspecies Walk curated by Dr Ros Bandt in Athens for Sound Walk Sunday
September 1, 2019

National Gardens Central Athens  and the Botanical Gardens  west of Athens (please check first for access due to fire warnings).
Find a tortoise and follow it without it noticing, how he walks,  the sound of its feet on different surfaces, the speed, toe contact. Imitate him. look listen and earn through imitative movement. If you didn't find one you could always go to the pond where there are gorgeous small turtles and terrapins swimming as it will be 36 degrees and there is shade and seats for humans. This one was photographed near the cafe at around 4.00. Try your luck.
